State of the School Address 2025:

A School Year of Growth, Excellence, and Unity

On July 11, 2025, at 4:30 PM, the KES community gathered for the annual State of the School Address (SOSA), led and delivered by Mrs. Emilia L. Tolentino, School Principal IV.

Dr. Maria Jesusa S. Zacarias, Master Teacher I, gave the opening remarks, welcomed everyone and emphasized the importance of reflecting on the school’s progress.

 

Highlights of the Past School Year

In her inspiring speech, Mrs. Tolentino shared some of the school’s achievements and milestones:

      •  Despite a slight drop in enrollment, the school maintained a high promotion rate and a very low drop-out rate.
      • Teachers and non-teaching staff continued to work hand in hand to ensure quality education and support for learners.
      • Several programs addressing learning gaps flourished, such as Project K-LIBRI, TARA BASA, National Learning Camp, Project NUMERO, Project SIKAP, and the Remedial Reading Program funded by the LGU.
      • Assessment tools like TOFAS, RMA, CRLA, and Phil-IRI were administered to identify learners’ strengths and areas for improvement.

Achievements that Made every Keseyeno Proud

KES learners excelled in various competitions:

      • The Journalism Team was awarded Overall Champion at the Division Schools Press Conference and Contests and placed in regional events, with awards in Radio Broadcasting, Collaborative Writing, and Feature Writing.
      • Athletes brought pride to KES by competing in the Palarong Pambansa, and winning in other sports events.
      • The Galaw Pilipinas Dancers clinched top spots at both division and regional levels.
      • Kindergarten, math whizzes, and quiz bee participants also earned notable wins in their respective contests.

These accomplishments reflect the dedication of learners, teachers, and coaches who continue to embody the spirit of excellence.

 

Moving Forward

The event concluded with a remark from Dr. Rialeza A. Castillo, Master Teacher I and Faculty President, expressing gratitude to the entire school community for their hard work and unity.

Mrs. Grace P. Valdez, Master Teacher II and Dr. Bryan B. Barbon, Master Teacher I served as the Masters of Ceremonies at the said event.
