In a remarkable achievement, Kalayaan Elementary School has claimed first place in the overall top performing school (Elementary Level) in the recently concluded 43rd Division Schools Press Conference and Contests (DSPCC) last January 25, 2025, held at Epifanio Delos Santos Elementary School (EDSES). The competition brought together the best journalism talents from the Schools Division of Pasay City by showcasing an exceptional display of writing, reporting and creativity from the participating teams.
KES Journalism Team, led by the school paper advisers in both English and Filipino, Mrs. Esperanza G. Rasing and Ms. Nora C. Relaniza with the guidance and supervision of Mrs. Grace P. Valdez, MT-II and Journalism Focal Person, and Mrs. Emilia L. Tolentino, Principal IV stood out for its impressive coverage across multiple categories. This victory highlights the hard work, dedication and skill of every participant, from individual to group category.
