The Effects of Drugs on Youth

            Being a teenager is often confusing, challenging stage, which can make teens vulnerable falling into a destructive pattern of drug use. While most teens probably see their drug use to have fun.

             So what are the effects of drugs to teens and others?

              There are negative effects that is a result of using drugs. These negative effect usually include in a drop of academic performance or interest, and stained relationships with family and friends. Performance on the job or at school can suffer significantly, leading to job loss or dropping out of school. People who abuse drug lose control and put themselves in dangerous situations. Their actions and behaviors can lead to getting involved in violent situations, either as a victim or assailant. Disorderly behavior from drug abuse or stealing to buy drugs can lead to arrests.

              Getting rid of drugs is not easy. Strong determination is needed in every steps of treatment. Instead of engaging youth into prohibited drugs, they can visit their relatives far from home, or they can venture to some beautiful places for some time with their family members. Make sure that the place is drug free and have strong laws against it before visiting. Watch movies and documentaries against drugs. You can watch different movies which discourage its viewers about drugs. Become religious to recover from drug addiction. Avoid smoking and excessive drinking liquor.

                Enjoy being youth, stay away from drugs, be confident and be happy. Be determined to get rid on drugs. Learn to choose friends and groups who can influence you positively. Do not let drugs kill your dreams! Instead, be pereistent on achieving your dreams without engaging on prohibited drugs.
